EAA Chapter 1000 Oct 18 Non-Newsletter

This month you will not receive a fancy edited typeset newsletter of the type you have become accustomed to. Evil Editor Zurg is away at a secret meeting of evil-doers, and Erbman leaves later today for Savannah GA for a week.

This month's meeting will be on Tuesday 16 October at the USAF Test Pilot School. As we are wont to do, we will gather at 1700 for schmooze time with snacks and drinks, followed by a presentation from our speaker at 1730.

This month's speaker (to be named later) will be from General Atomics, the nuclear energy company that brought you the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper RPA/UAV/Drones. Keep in mind that the MQ-1 is powered by a Rotax 912 engine, very familiar to homebuilders.

You may also want to ask about the flight operations and how you can mitigate your chances of bumping into one of these aircraft while you are flying.

Expect that after the presentation we will move to the BK Dead Kow Emporium for dinner.
